After completing her undergraduate degree at The University of Newcastle-upon Tyne, Anthea stayed in the North-East to complete her Post-Graduate training in Psychiatry of Older Age.

During her 1^st Consultant role, Anthea developed and ran the Memory Protection Service over a five-year period. She then started her current role in the ageless Sunderland Liaison Psychiatry team.
