Born and raised in the North East, I completed my medical studies at Newcastle University (qualifying in 2007) and subsequent junior doctor training across a number of regional hospital trusts.

I commenced specialist psychiatry training in 2009 and have spent time across a variety of services within the CNTW NHS Foundation Trust since this time. I am now a Consultant Psychiatrist working within crisis psychiatry for the general adult population.

In addition to my clinical roles, I have a strong interest in Medical Education and am involved in a variety of roles across undergraduate and postgraduate education.
