Dr Sophia Bennett

I currently work within the South Tyneside community treatment team within a memory clinic for the diagnosis of older adults presenting with cognitive impairment. This was my first job as a substantive consultant and is ideal for my particular interest in dementia and post diagnostic dementia services.

Outside of my clinical role I have a strong interest in medical education and teaching EJR and ESR medical students both in a classroom and clinical setting.

I will be looking a taking up a more formal educational role as either an educational supervisor for foundation or core trainees and then a higher trainer once eligible.
