Big Bear Promo, a supplier of promotional merchandise for businesses, has provided branded badges for SHINE Fund free of charge.
The badges will be sold at fundraising events over the summer, including Big Tea events organised to mark the 75th anniversary of the NHS.
The SHINE Fund makes a huge difference to the experience of people who are cared for in our hospitals across the region. It provides the little extras that make a big difference to a person’s wellbeing and recovery, including things like horse riding outings and gardening tools to day trips and music equipment.
Recently SHINE has funded the transformation of an underused outdoor space at St George’s Park Hospital, Morpeth. Money from SHINE was used to make the space into a therapeutic garden for service users, who worked alongside staff to improve the space.
Sharon Brennan, marketing manager at CNTW, says: “We’re really grateful to Big Bear Promo for this generous donation of badges.
“Thanks to them, every penny raised from their sale can be put towards supporting our service users on their recovery journey and helping them to live happier, fuller lives.”
