Pressure ulcers – NICE Quality Standard 89

This NICE quality standard covers preventing, assessing and managing pressure ulcers (bed sores) in adults, young people and children. It includes risk assessment and support to prevent pressure ulcers. It applies to all settings, including hospitals, care homes (with and without nursing care) and people’s own homes.
