A specialist multi-disciplinary team offering psychodynamic/psychoanalytic psychotherapy consultation, assessment and individual or group analytic therapies. Therapy will focus on how people think and feel about themselves, both as individuals and in relation to other people. The service also provides clinical supervision, case consultation and training to other health professionals.
Interventions are offered from the team base at Sycamore, Hopewood Park, but other community venues can be accessed by arrangement depending on availability and individual circumstances. Groups take place at Sycamore, Hopewood Park, at Grange Park Clinic (Monkwearmouth Hospital) and at Houghton Day Unit.
